Chicken Liver Mouse

Liver is the most nutritious food on earth. It is packed with vitamins. If you’re one of those people that is afraid of eating liver, I have goods news: it’s not disgusting. I used to be so grossed out by the thought of eating liver, but now I literally crave it (which is my body’s way of telling me I need it). I buy a really tasty pate from Dean and Deluca (which is super pricey) and I think this version is just as good. Just try it. It taste like Thanksgiving.   Chicken Liver Mousse Liver is the most nutritious food on earth. It is packed with vitamins. Crustless Quiche with Peppers, Onions and Cheddar (Paleo & Primal)

Crustless quiche is one of the most delicious “trendy” recipes I’ve ever seen. Here’s my version, 100% paleo, 100% primal, 100% deliciousness.   Paleo Crustless Quiche with Onions, Peppers, and Cheddar This Paleo Crustless Quiche with onions, peppers and cheddar is a great low-carb appetizer but also makes for a great main course when paired with a green salad. 6 large eggs2 cups peppers (sliced)1 onion (sliced1 jalapeno)1-2 cups cheddar (omit if you're a super strict paleo person)1 tbsp coconut oil or butter Preheat oven to 350F.Saute the peppers and onions until soft. In a blender, lightly blend the eggs and jalapeno (I like to blend the jalapeno so it doesn’t burn my fingers off). Add the peppers and eggs to a pie dish. Bake for 30 minutes, or until the eggs are set. Top with the cheddar and put it under the broiler for about 2 minutes.

How To Save Money By Buying On Amazon

I am addicted to Amazon. Scott thinks I have a problem. We usually have several boxes delivered during the week. But realistically, I’d be paying much more for several of the items I buy if I bought them at the store. I am an Amazon Prime member. So for $80 a year, I get free two-day shipping on most items. It’s amazing. It saves me time and money. So first, if you haven’t already, I definitely recommend signing up for Amazon Prime. Second, check out the daily deals! Amazon always has a tab at the top for daily deals. These items are often discounted to over 50% off. Third, you can do “ship and save.” This allows items to be delivered to you monthly at a discounted cost. For example, I have vitamin K2 delivered to me each month. There are 60 pills, 30 days in a month (or so)…

Szechuan Spicy Beef

The flavor of Szechuan (especially that famous sauce!) is so delicious. It’s flavorful and has just the right amount of kick. So naturally, I had to figure out how to produce it at home! But what is the Szechuan flavor? According to WiseGeek: Szechuan cuisine features flavors that are found in Szechuan beef. The Sichuan province in the west of China is the home of Szechuan food. Spiciness and rich flavor are hallmarks of Szechuan food, and it aims to bring together salty, bitter, sweet, sour, and pungent flavors. Delicious. As a result, we all want to make this now. Right? High Fat Food Is Healthier Than Low Fat Food

Despite studies, evidence to the contrary, traditional cultures and plain old common sense, low-fat foods are societally accepted as healthy. People are often shocked to find out the majority of the calories I consume come from fat. And despite what you’ve heard about cholesterol and saturated fats, both are absolutely essential for the body to properly function. Not only are low-fat foods processed, they are robbing your body of essential fats, vitamins and minerals. To make naturally fatty foods like dairy products low-fat, they undergo a lot of processing and the fat is often replaced with unhealthy additives like canola oil, soy oil, skim milk powder and artificial sweeteners. Let’s compare butter with margarine. I buy Kerrygold butter, which is grass-fed butter that is full of vitamins and healthy fats. Here is the ingredient list for a popular margarine, Earth Balance: It contains genetically modified ingredients, trans and hydrogenated fats and other processed ingredients.…

There Are No Foods That Melt Fat

Have you seen those ads on the sidebar of your email that say “This one food melts belly fat in one week!” or “This one strange trick will eliminate body fat!”? Yeah, those are ridiculous. Recently a friend sent me an email saying, “What can I eat to get rid of belly fat? I heard that eating almonds and quinoa will get rid of it.” The answer to getting rid of fat is more complicated. First, you can’t target fat. For example, I have love handles and I always have (I’m not complaining, I just do). There is no food I could eat that would target that section of my body and help eliminate the fat there. This is impossible. Think of your body like a snow ball. When it melts, the whole snow ball melts, not just one section. This is like your body. When you eat well and exercise,…

Spicy Chicken Lettuce Wraps (Paleo & Primal)

I first has lettuce wraps at PF Chang’s a few years ago. Those things are money, they’re so delicious. So I decided to just make my own chicken wraps (much healthier, no sketchy ingredients). This is actually a recipe from Ditch The Diet. It’s super simple, really delicious and refreshing with the crunchy romaine I got from the farmers market. It’s kind of like a salad, but not in the form of a salad. So I dig it. Paleo Spicy Chicken Lettuce Wraps This paleo chicken lettuce wraps recipe is actually a recipe from Ditch The Diet.
