Every holiday season when I hear about people gaining weight I always think of the episode of Friends where Joey and Ross are dangling from the fire escape

and Joey asks Ross how much he weighs.

I used to do one of two things every holiday season.

Scenario 1: Convince myself that eating terribly was fine, that the holidays were an exception and that I’d be missing out if I didn’t indulge. I’d gain weight, break out, and feel terrible.

Scenario 2: Convince myself that eating all of my favorite, delicious holiday treats wasn’t worth it so I’d miss out and be completely miserable.

But it doesn’t have to be one or the other. You can have your pumpkin pie and eat it too. In the Healthy Holiday Challenge I’m sending you four weeks of healthy holiday recipes, including favorites like:

  • chocolate pie
  • sugar cookies
  • mashed potatoes
  • green bean casserole
  • egg nog
  • stuffing
  • peppermint fudge
  • Christman morning quiche
  • chocolate chip cookies
  • and a lot more!

All of the recipes are healthy, refined sugar-free and grain-free. Because you don’t need to give up your favorite holiday foods, you just need to make them healthier! Here’s how it works: I’ll send out four emails on Fridays starting November 15th. Each email will have 7 healthy holiday recipes, so if you want to make them for the upcoming week, you can get your grocery shopping in over the weekend.

You don’t need to gain weight, break out, eat poorly or deprive yourself this holiday season. The Healthy Holiday Challenge will teach you how to eat all the foods you love and make them healthier, without sacrificing taste.
