The Best Gluten-Free Sugar Cookies
These sugar cookies are not only easy to make, they're absolutely delicious! Plus so, so moist. Sorry for using the word moist.
- 2 and 1/4 cup Bob's Gluten-Free 1:1 Flour
- 1/2 tsp baking powder
- 1.5 sticks butter, melted
- 1 egg
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 1 tbsp vanilla extract
- 1 stick butter, softened
- 2 cups powdered sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- food coloring, if using
Melt the butter in a bowl.
Once cooled, add the egg. Don't cook the egg!
Add the sugar.
Add the flour, baking soda and vanilla.
Mix into a dough.
Form into balls and then pat down a bit before baking.
Bake for 12 minutes.
