I kind of feel like you can add sour cream and dill to anything and call it Russian. But my grandmother used to make this salad and I grew up eating it. It’s refreshing and a perfect side dish for chicken, fish, pork, steak, everything.
Simple Russian Salad
Tomatoes, onions, cucumber, and dill in a divine creamy dressing that tastes rich but is healthy and mayo-free! This Russian Salad is the perfect side for a bbq!
Ingredients
- 1 large cucumber or 2 small cucumbers diced
- 1 pint cherry tomatoes sliced in half
- 1/4 onion sliced lengthwise
- 1 tbsp dill
- 3 tbsp sour cream
- salt and pepper
Instructions
- Combine all ingredients. The longer this sits out the better the flavors will mesh together.
