Vegetable Oils

Vegetable oils like soy, corn, canola, cottonseed, etc are one of the unhealthiest foods in the American diet. Vegetable oils are the driving force behind obesity and all degenerative diseases, including heart disease. Vegetable oils are often from genetically modified seeds. These oils are extracted at high heats, bleached and highly refined, rendering them toxic. They are also extremely high in omega-6 fatty acid, which is extremely inflammatory. Inflammation is the basis of all disease.

Soda

Soda is completely useless. It is devoid of any nutrients but full of sugar. It literally causes diabetes and obesity. It’s full of sketchy ingredients including artificial flavoring and caramel coloring. I wasn’t even able to find the ingredients in a coke. Diet soda is no better. It contains aspartame, which is next.

Aspartame and other sugar substitutes

Aspartame is one of the most dangerous “foods” on the market. Side effects include insomnia, irritability and vision problems. It has been directly linked to various cancers, tumor growth, Parkinson’s disease, diabetes, epilepsy and other neurological problems. It is completely toxic and should be avoided at all costs.

Genetically modified foods

Genetically modified foods are also entirely dangerous. GMOs cause cancer, infertility, neurological problems, inflammation and a host of other diseases. You can read more about GMOs and the top 10 here.

Egg whites, but not the whole egg

Egg whites are stupid. The healthiest part of the egg is the yolk! In fact, I put three egg yolks in Scott’s smoothie every morning. It is a multivitamin. It is full of omega-3 fatty acids, biotin, vitamins A, E, D and K. The egg whites found in a carton, as opposed to separating yourself, often have toxic additives and preservatives added to them. Remember the the yolk is good for you!

Low-fat and inorganic dairy

Low-fat anything is also stupid. Removing the fat often requires harsh processing, replacing the fat with sugars, additives, preservatives and other sketchy ingredients. Full-fat dairy, however, is rich in vitamins and heart healthy saturated fats. Always buy full-fat. Also make sure you’re purchasing grass-fed or at least organic dairy. Cereal

Cereal, I’m talking your typical breakfast cereal (not homemade, soaked, sprouted, what have you) is a toxic food. Grains undergo a huge amount of processing in breakfast cereals. Cereals also often contain gluten, canola oil, soy oil, sugar, GMOs, preservatives and other sketchy ingredients. Even “healthy” cereals are bad for you. CAFO Meat and Farmed Seafood

First of all, animals raised in these conditions are tortured. They are crammed into crates, or dirty pools of water and are often tortured. They wallow in their own fecal matter, they get diseases. These animals are fed genetically modified grains, which turns them into extremely unhealthy animals. They are the pumped full of antibiotics. This meat makes its way to your plate, full of GMOs and antibiotics still in the tissues. Just because you don’t eat GMOs, does not mean you are not exposed to them via the type of meat you eat. Buy pastured animals from a local farm, buy wild seafood.
